For GoodElectronics and ICRT, supply chain transparency is very important. What does the EICC Code of Conduct and the Validated Audit Process Protocol say about supply chain transparency? Are EICC member companies required to disclose the names and addresses of all the factories in their supply chain?
Original question as formulated in the survey: Do EICC member companies disclose to the public the names and addresses of all the companies in their supply chain?
GoodElectronics and ICRT score:
GoodElectronics and ICRT agree with the EICC self-score. Our own analysis of the EICC Code of Conduct and VAP Audits also shows that there is a gaping gap between what EICC is asking from its members and the transparency expectations of CSOs and experts. This is an important starting point for transparency. Electronics companies such as HP, Apple and Dell are already doing this.
